INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: You must close Loan And Mortgage - if it is already
running on your computer - before running the installation file again
for a new version.
- Review the system requirements to ensure that
Loan And Mortgage will run on your computer (Loan And Mortgage 2.x
will NOT run properly under Windows 95 or older versions of Windows).

Click here
to download the installation file. Depending on your web browser, you
may be prompted to either open or save the installation file (lam2setup.exe).
Select 'Save' to save the file in a location of your choice
on a local drive.
- Once the download is complete, if there is an 'Open' button displayed on the
download dialog then click it to open (run) the installation file. Otherwise take
note of the location where the installation file
was saved and then run it from that location either through Windows Explorer
(locate and double-click the installation file name) or through the Windows' Run
command (select 'Start | Run...', provide the complete path of the installation file
and click 'OK').
- Follow the installation file instructions to complete the installation.

CURRENT VERSION AND UPGRADE INFORMATION
The most current version of Loan And Mortgage is 2.3.1. For a complete history
of changes in all versions of Loan And Mortgage since version 1.0,
please see the
lamhistory.txt file.
If you have a registered copy of Loan And Mortgage version 1.x
and wish to upgrade it to the current version, you are entitled to do so
free of charge. Simply click here for
the instructions to download and install the current version of Loan And
Mortgage on your computer, then complete and submit our
free upgrade form to
request your free registration key for the current version
with unlock instructions.
If there is an older copy of Loan And Mortgage (evaluation or registered)
already installed on your computer you do NOT have to remove it before proceeding
with the installation of the new version.
If Loan And Mortgage version 2.0 or higher is already installed on your computer then
the new version should automatically replace the older one as long as it is installed
in the same folder as the older one (the default). If you are updating a registered
copy of Loan And Mortgage 2.x, it will continue to work with your current registration.
If you are updating an evaluation copy of Loan And Mortgage 2.x then your evaluation
period should automatically be reset to the first day of use.
If Loan And Mortgage version 1.x is already installed on your computer then the new
version should be installed in a different location so both the older version (1.x) and
the new one (2.x) can run in parallel.
